From a single perfect bloom, to a function full of flowers...  

“Blooms on the Boulevard” is the long time dream of Stephanie De Haas and her daughter, Coral Shortt. Both have been involved in flower arranging for many years. Their involvement with flowers has been both competitive and for fun. It all started with an active participation in the very high standard floral competitions in Zimbabwe. Subsequently they both developed their love for flowers and floral art by arranging flowers at home, for their respective churches and for functions and weddings on behalf of friends, family and colleagues, in a part-time capacity. 

Finally an opportunity presented itself to turn their passion into their past-time, resulting in the birth of “Blooms on the Boulevard”. Not long after taking over a small existing business, they were invited to become a ‘preferred supplier’ to a well known Muldersdrift wedding venue, who recognised the quality and character of their work. They have continued to grow their existing corporate accounts, adding new ones along the way. And they are often sought out to regularly provide flowers for private individuals who share a great love for fresh flowers in their homes. They have provided flowers for ad-hoc occasions, corporate functions and weddings to customers both locally and as far afield as the United Kingdom and the USA. 

They are well known for their quality and variety of cut flowers, innovative and classic designs and their determination to go the extra mile to delight their clients.

They find inspiration in the great beauty of the natural world that God has provided and from the many wonderful people that they meet through their store.
